Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful candidate will oversee a team including a Brand Manager and a Digital Media Manager, developing and executing marketing strategies to drive immediate sales growth and long-term brand development. This role requires a results-oriented individual with strong analytical and research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Job Size

The role is for Pizza Hut Germany only. Pizza Hut has more than 80 restaurants operated by sub-franchisees in various cities in Germany. Marketing and Media budgets are determined as a percentage of sales income. Report to the Country GM and Regional Marketing Director, driving the Pizza Hut brand both internally (Franchisees) and externally (Customers).

Job Functions

  • Drive growth in same-store sales, transactions, and franchisee profitability by channel.
  • Implement marketing plans to boost brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales, aligned with regional targets.
  • Develop the Annual Marketing Calendar with cross-functional support to drive sales and brand growth.
  • Manage menu and pricing strategies to ensure value in a competitive market, including biannual menu updates and price adjustments.
  • Oversee creative development for all marketing materials, including digital, print, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Optimize marketing campaigns based on performance results.
  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure ROI and prevent overspend.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, such as media and creative agencies.
  • Foster cross-functional collaborations to achieve marketing goals.
  • Work with creative agencies on 360 Campaign executions for National Campaigns.
  • Manage media plans to ensure maximum ROAS, sales, and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with aggregator partners on joint business plans for promotions and marketing initiatives, optimizing channel growth.
  • Lead Web/App marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, monitor e-commerce performance, and focus on app strategies for acquisition and engagement.

Knowledge & Skill Required

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the QSR industry.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Data analysis skills for informed marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics (SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Team player with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability outside regular office hours as needed.
