Role Overview
As a Commercial Sales Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to determine how commercial licensing and contracting should be changed to best meet customer needs. You will leverage your understanding of sales science (e.g., pipeline metrics, closed rates, competitive selling) to establish a strategic sales execution cadence. Your responsibilities include developing customer-centric offers by engaging with and aligning account teams around deals, ensuring Win/Win compliant deal making, and creating commercial solutions.

Responsibilities
- Support various sellers to achieve revenue targets and collaborate with stakeholders and teams. Develop understanding of resources and their usage to drive business outcomes.
- Propose solutions and seek feedback to adjust commercial licensing approaches to meet customer needs.
- Contribute to developing commercial proposals, industry knowledge, and competitive analysis to craft effective commercial solutions through early engagement, planning, and ideation.
- Review customer commercial history, including discounts, concessions, and consumption, and identify upcoming renewals.
- Learn about adherence to volume licensing, policies, regulatory laws, and company guidance for consistent deal making.
- Analyze deals for risks related to contract growth, partner channels, profitability, legal issues, and contracting, leveraging corporate and local resources while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, IT, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education, or related field
- Sales and negotiation experience
- Fluent in German and English
- Legally authorized to work in Germany (citizenship, visa, or work permit)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree (or pursuing) in relevant fields with sales and negotiation experience or related work experience
