Job Title: Team Lead - Project Development BESS & PV

Location: Location Flexible in Germany

Join a rapidly growing, internationally backed renewable energy developer that has achieved a 1.5GW development pipeline in Germany over the past year. With the support of a global investor managing over $300 billion in assets, they are looking for a PD Team-Lead to cover BESS and PV.

Role Overview:

As the Team Lead - Project Development BESS & PV, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our renewable energy strategy in Germany. You will lead a team of experienced project developers, drive the expansion of our development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of project developers.
• Oversee the entire project development lifecycle, from site identification and permitting to financial close.
• Develop and implement strategies to accelerate project development and maximize portfolio growth.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including grid operators, local authorities, and landowners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize permitting processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure project success.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for BESS & PV expansion in Germany.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in project development within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of German energy regulations, permitting processes, and grid connection requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• A strategic mindset with a passion for driving the energy transition.
