Talent Acquisition (60%)
You are the first defender of internal excellence and high-performance. You understand our talent bar, and drive ruthlessly to maintain or improve it. You see this challenge as energising and compelling.
You will own and execute full-cycle recruitment for all company hiring, with a focus on hiring top-tier engineering and AI talent - you will have the ownership and autonomy to design not just the processes, but also the foundations to how we approach TA.
You will not just partner closely with hiring managers, but you will deeply understand their functions, thereby being able to challenge their points of view, and add value to their thought process around hiring needs - you will be the recruiting expert.
You will help them to scope roles, design inclusive hiring processes, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience, knowing that every interaction with candidates is meaningful and important - it reflects who we are as a business and our values.
We believe that diversity, equality and inclusivity does matter. Still. And you will continue to build and nurture diverse pipelines using proactive sourcing, community engagement, and creative outreach.
You don’t have to love data, but you have to be competent at using it! A close focus on recruitment metrics help drive excellence in performance and delivery - it’s important. Knowing what to track, how to interpret and then how to use this information to iterate and improve, is essential.
Employer Branding (40%)
Translate deepset’s mission, values, and culture into compelling narratives that resonate with top talent - and live it.
Lead content creation for LinkedIn, our careers page, and external platforms (e.g., blog posts, videos, team spotlights, event recaps)
Collaborate with Marketing, People, and Leadership teams to position deepset as an employer of choice in the AI and open-source communities by truly understanding what matters to the business and delivering our EVP that ties all of these points of view together.
Work closely with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)—facilitating safe spaces, events, and initiatives that foster inclusion and belonging
Drive our presence in underrepresented communities, conferences, and affinity groups to attract mission-aligned, diverse talent - not for the optics, but for the impact. You have to understand this difference.
Deep experience in technical recruitment, ideally in high-growth tech or product-led companies - you will cover all roles, but understanding how and where to engage technical talent is a must.
Strong storytelling instincts and experience in employer branding, content marketing, or internal communications
Proven success sourcing and hiring for hard-to-fill technical roles, especially in engineering or AI/ML whilst aligning with our bar of high-performing individuals
Experience designing and supporting strong communities
Passion for building inclusive, equitable, and values-driven hiring practices
A proven track record in driving impact across organisations with clear results of positive outcomes
