Software architect / tech lead (m/f/d) for digital energy systems

As a Tech Lead / Software Architect (m/f/d), you will be responsible for setting up and developing our digital software platform for photovoltaics, storage technology and energy management. You will design our cloud infrastructure, conceptualize modern interfaces and help build a growing, international team of developers.

Your tasks

• Overall technical responsibility for the architecture of our cloud-based software solutions (customer apps, monitoring and service portals, EMS)
• Hands-on collaboration during implementation (e.g. code reviews, PoCs, complex implementations)
• Selection of modern technologies with a focus on open source and security
• Design and review of APIs for connecting hardware components and third-party systems
• Establishment and further development of our nearshoring team and recruitment of in-house developers
• Close collaboration with our teams in Constance and China

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software architecture and active development (full stack, cloud, APIs)
• Very good knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure or open source alternatives)
• Understanding of IT security, data protection and modern DevOps approaches
• Experience in the technical management of development teams (also in distributed structures)
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
