Senior Analytics Engineer (f/m/x)

For our Data team based at our HQ in Berlin-Schöneberg, we are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer (f/m/x)

This role is Berlin-based, and we will expect you to be in the office 3 days per week.

Your tasks:

• Develop, optimise and maintain a scalable data model in the data warehouse (Snowflake).
• Monitor system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, integrating new features and optimising queries.
• Translate business goals into key performance indicators and meaningful insight.
• Support the BI Team in the conception and development of a Business Intelligence (BI) report.

Your profile

• You have an understanding or previous experience working with cloud based data Warehouse solutions (preferably snowflake)
• Proven work experience with PostgreSQL, relational databases, dimensional data modelling and data mining.
• You have an understanding of business issues, their wider implications and long-term impact.
  Problem-solving attitude - you have a positive approach to challenges, and you are an executor who brings solutions to the end
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Python & dbt (data build tool).
• Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage, but not required.
• Excellent English level (Level C1)

• Being able to communicate in German
