As our new Server Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Engineering arm of Project Delivery & Engineering where we stand at the forefront of working towards a fossil-free future. Within our Digital Engineering division, we specialize in delivering and integrating digital solutions aimed at facilitating renewable energy production and ensuring dependable operations. We oversee the whole value chain, from bid acquisition to asset construction and operation. Our focus lies on Operational Technology (OT) and IT, harnessing control and analytic modelling synergies to optimize engineering design through comprehensive data integration.
As one of the key functions in Vattenfall’s wind business, Digital Technology Engineering is responsible for supporting wind projects, operational sites and other business units in managing SCADA equipment, server infrastructure, data platforms, and control systems.

As a Server Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the secure, resilient, and efficient operation of our server and virtualization infrastructure supporting the OT landscape throughout the lifecycle of our wind farms.
Working closely with your colleagues, you will support both onshore and offshore wind portfolios. You will play a key role during project design, delivery, and operation phases, ensuring our server platforms meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and cybersecurity.

You possess a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in server infrastructure engineering, ideally within the energy or industrial OT sector. You are a clear communicator and excel in working across functional teams and stakeholder groups.
