Lead Full Stack Developer (m / w / d) in Pet Tech Startup

Daphnee is a pioneering digital platform dedicated to enhancing pet care by connecting pet owners and professionals. Our dual apps, Daphnee App for pet owners and Daphnee Pro for pet professionals, provide comprehensive solutions for efficient pet care management. What you’ll be doing?

1. You will lead our engineering team and contribute to the continuous development of the product in an agile environment.
2. You will play a key role in our product development by designing and building a sophisticated and highly scalable cloud solution.
3. You are responsible for building up our domain-driven software architecture.
4. In close collaboration with our other skilled developers, you will translate requirements and designs into high-quality, responsive code.

All in all, you will develop and implement Daphnee’s SaaS technology platform, supporting our growth.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has…

• a portfolio demonstrating 3+ years of web application development experience.
• working knowledge of mobile apps
• experience designing backend services (REST APIs, JSON)
• experience working with different 3rd party libraries
• experience with version control (Git)
• experience working with package managers (Yarn, NPM, etc)
• an eye for high-quality design using Angular Material components, good usability, and clean code
• enthusiasm for building interactive visual experiences that harness the power of modern hardware

Extra points if you have experience with:

• Developing software products in a cloud computing environment (e.g., GCP)
• CSS Pre-Processors (Less / SASS)
• Typeform
• Firebase

As our company language is English, fluency in English is required. Knowing German is a bonus.
