Senior GL Accountant

This strategic role, reporting to the Finance Manager Europe, offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing financial processes while collaborating with multicultural teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and complete general ledger accounts in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation in line with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax filings.
• Coordinate with auditors for assigned entities during the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests, such as the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and serve as a backup when needed.
