Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.
Summary
The EMEA Associate Account Development Specialist will work to expand the reach of the field sales team by procuring new RFPs and customer meetings primarily within the EMEA region. This role will be aligned with designated representatives of the field sales team to capture new business from regional territory accounts. Responsibilities include broad geographic outreach campaigns, coupled with targeted customer outreach campaigns, with a focus on new RFP generation.
Responsibilities
Sales Support:
- Primary responsibility for database development
- Outreach to new customers to procure new RFPs
- Prospect for leads via internal and external resources
- Utilize social media tools to identify entryways into target companies
- Research and verify current records in Salesforce
- Assist with tradeshow promotion to customers, including post-show follow up with qualified leads
- Assist in RFI management and maintenance of the RFI answer library
- Additional responsibilities as needed in support of business development.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Versed in the use of social media tools (LinkedIn)
- Highly organized (ex. “list-oriented” person)
- Deadline driven – ability to follow through on tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in English – reading, writing, and speaking
Preferred Knowledge And Skills
- Salesforce CRM experience
- Clinical Research/CRO experience
Education/Experience
Associate degree, or equivalent from two-year college, and 2+ years related experience considered. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Language Ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or clinical research protocols. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point and preferably Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other social media tools.
