For permanent employment, OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a System AIT Engineer (m/f/d).
Your Tasks
- Overall AIT technical responsibility and acting as the go-to person for a project across disciplines, supporting the AIT manager.
- Technical coordination of the assigned AIT project team.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with OHB’s AIT processes.
- Define AIT flow, ground support equipment, and facility concepts in the early project phase.
- Standardize and update AIT documentation, including AIT Plan, Facility Plan, Ground Support Equipment Deployment Plan/Specs, AIT Risk Register, Procedures, etc.
- Ensure ground support equipment suitability and integration, and test definitions across disciplines.
- Control the technical coherence and consistency of documents, ground support, equipment, and test setups and approaches.
- Define and maintain interfaces with engineering, verification, and PA.
- Support test review preparations and participation (IRR/TRR, PTR) in coordination with the AIT Manager.
- Organize results data review and drive approvals.
- Maintain AIT data storage for the project.
- Define and manage AIT tools usage for the project.
- Support the AIT manager with planning activities.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to employees.
- Perform other activities as per knowledge and skills, temporarily or permanently.
Your Qualifications
- Completed engineering studies or equivalent qualification in a relevant area.
- Extensive experience in space, with technical competence in relevant areas, familiarity with space processes, and a structured working approach.
- Good communication skills, problem-solving orientation, flexibility, and resilience.
- Leadership skills.
- Strategic planning with foresight, cost and schedule awareness, and risk management.
- Willingness to travel and work shifts.
