Our Engineer (m/w/d) Power Conversion

Independently manages the timely completion of engineering projects related to Power Generating Units like inverters, industrial chargers, and EV chargers, according to UL and IEC standards.

Locations:

Neu-Isenburg

Working model:

Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Responsibilities

  • Determine project scope, develop preliminary investigation plans, and set project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements based on client input and product data.
  • Conduct or witness tests at client sites or external laboratories, which may require travel.
  • Communicate with clients to promote services, explain benefits, discuss technical difficulties, and negotiate project details.
  • Follow up on client contacts and address concerns to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with overseas technical experts on complex products and standards interpretation.
  • Establish test programs by reviewing documentation, examining samples, and applying UL requirements.
  • Notify clients of non-compliance issues or scope changes.
  • Coordinate laboratory activities, prepare data sheets, and manage work schedules of technicians and support staff.
  • Handle administrative aspects of project management.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of Power Conversion Technology (preferred).
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Strong technical vocabulary in relevant disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of conformity standards in the field.
  • Experience applying project management concepts in technical projects.
