Job Title : Business Development Manager / Director – Full Service CRO
Location : Germany
Key Responsibilities :
Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities in research and development services for pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
Proactively search for relevant tenders on various platforms and independently manage the tender process, including document analysis and proposal preparation.
Collaborate with internal departments to align business development efforts with company objectives.
Prepare and negotiate detailed business proposals and contracts.
Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and at industry events and conferences.
Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
Monitor, track, and report business development activities and results to senior management.
Candidate Profile :
A university degree, preferably in Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, or Business Administration.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing within the R&D services sector for pharmaceuticals and / or medical devices. Experience in clinical research, biostatistics, data management, or market access is highly desirable.
In-depth understanding of industry dynamics, current trends, and key challenges.
Strong ability to assess client needs, develop tailored solutions, and lead them through the adoption process.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence in building long-term professional relationships.
Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis software is a plus.
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
