Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled UAV Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting the assembly, maintenance, and operation of fixed-wing UAS platforms within a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, wiring, and testing UAS
  • Support field deployments and live demonstrations
  • Perform regular maintenance and system diagnostics
  • Work closely with experienced engineers to learn and grow
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes
  • Dive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems
  • Constantly challenge requirements to determine what adds value and what is not

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with hobby aircraft, model aviation, or light aircraft
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn fast
  • Experience with RC aircraft, university aerospace projects, or hands-on workshops
  • CAD familiarity, soldering, composite materials
  • Drone pilot license or aviation background
  • Curious, hands-on, proactive, and a team player
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, innovative startup environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
