System Integration Managers play a vital role in the success of our projects and are the all-important “Voice of Engineering” that ensures the solutions we deliver are aligned with customer requirements.
The SIM’s role is to ensure design integrity across the project and provide proactive technical risk management, ensuring that the integrated solution meets the specified requirements for functionality and throughput, as defined in the contract and validated through acceptance testing, starting from the Sales phase and concluding at hand-over to Customer Service.
We are looking to strengthen our EMEA Systems Integration function. This remotely based position involves spending most of the time on various customer sites across the country and driving user and solutions acceptance testing to enhance the right-first-time acceptance of our technology within automated materials handling solutions.

Tasks and Qualifications :
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent the "voice of Engineering" to optimize automation solutions during the pre-sale phase, reviewing and advising on solution and acceptance testing language.
- Support the Simulation team by providing technical advice, reviewing simulation outputs, and aligning reports with SD and Sales, while anticipating impacts of deviations and informing customers early about their responsibilities affecting system performance.
- Generate System Specifications for customer approval and understanding.
- Define and lead the integration strategy throughout all project phases, from Solutions to Execution.
- Ensure alignment of System Specifications, Software Functional Specifications, acceptance test plans, and deliverables with contractual requirements, interfaces, and nomenclature, ensuring the system meets throughput expectations.
- Collaborate with the Test Manager to lead site-wide system testing, including developing test strategies, plans, documentation, and analyzing results.
- Produce system availability weightings and oversee calculations using appropriate FEM methods.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Master’s degree in Industrial Plant, Mechatronics, or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in development or technical management, preferably in high-level automated logistics.
- Experience as a Software Engineer in warehouse management systems is beneficial but not essential.
- Over 4 years of engineering experience, with a preference for material handling industry background.
- Strong functional leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to create technical documentation.
- Customer-facing skills and effective interaction with clients.
- Collaborative team player, capable of working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Availability to travel domestically 50-60% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license to support travel requirements.
