This Position reports to:

Key responsibilities

In this position, you will be the technical lead and design authority for integrated solutions related to electrical systems in Energy Industries division in Germany for the following applications/ project types:

• Greenfield projects (e.g. Hydrogen, Power-to-X, Grid connection of renewable energies, and many more)

• Service/ retrofit projects in the installed base

The work model for the role is: hybrid. (#LI-Hybrid)

In this role, you will drive excellence, making technical recommendations to ensure that engineering activities are effectively executed in accordance with expectations, specifications, standards and safety requirements, while identifying improvement opportunities.

You are the reliable partner for the project manager, suppliers and customers - with expertise, foresight and commitment, you will meet every customer’s request. Sounds like you? Then this is your chance.

Your responsibilities:

• Technical lead of a team of specialist engineers for complex engineering projects during the complete project duration

• Technical representation of the project towards the customer

• Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction always offering dialogue and excellent service

• Collaborating close with project management to implement the agreed project strategy

• Managing proactively the project engineering team to deliver the agreed scope on time, with the required quality and within the cost budget

• Creating and delivering work plans, resource requirements, proposals, engineering estimates, and risk and opportunity analysis

• Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and at customer sites

• Working and networking with engineering colleagues, disseminating best practices

• Overseeing new subcontracts and assisting the supply chain in managing subcontractors

Qualifications for the role

• A professional background in electrical engineering

• Several years of relevant work experience as electrical engineer or electrical technical project manager, acting as technical expert with most of the following systems: HV/MV/LV switchgears, Transformers, UPS systems, High power rectifiers & inverters, Container / e-house applications

• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies

• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills

• German and English (fluent, negotiating skills)

• No obstacles for travelling (short business travels)
