We are looking for a Contract management consultant (m/f/d) experienced within the Energy Industry.

Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining trade relationships including preparatory advice on negotiations of framework trade agreements such as EFETs, ISDAs, PPAs, VERs.
Passing on many years of knowledge and experience in the negotiation of framework trade agreements to the framework agreement team (e.g. via deep-dive meetings).
Coordinating novations with counterparties, including advising the team on the conclusion of novation agreements.
Reviewing and advising on the negotiation of collateral agreements (under German and British law).
Acting as a self-determining coordinating interface between various departments that need to be involved in the contract negotiations (e.g. legal, accounting, tax, compliance, regulatory contract provisions and their change during a negotiation means for the company that these departments are put in a position to assess risk and acceptability).
Review and advice on negotiation of brokerage contracts (+ terms and conditions).
Review of gas storage contracts (terms and conditions) and identification of relevant obligations.
Review of TSO contracts (terms and conditions) and identification of relevant obligations.
Client internal projects: Advising on contract drafting and conclusion in the context of the ongoing restructuring of the contract landscape with foreign client group companies and their retail units.
Skills:
Must haves:
Long-term experience in the energy industry.
Long-term experience with master trading agreements (and other contracts) in the energy industry (EFETs, ISDAs, PPAs, DRV, VERs).
Law/business law/or other studies with legal background required.
Nice to have:
German advantageous.
Qualification as a fully qualified (German) lawyer is an advantage.
