We're looking for an experienced Senior ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while implementing best practices for continuous integration and deployment.

Important: This position is based in our Hamburg office.

Tasks

1. Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure in cloud environments
2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery
3. Architect and implement monitoring and observability solutions
4. Collaborate with development teams to optimize infrastructure requirements and services for scaling
5. Automate operational processes and implement Infrastructure as Code
6. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
7. Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical decision-making

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in MLOps or Site Reliability Engineering
2. Experience with kserve and NVIDIA GPU Operator
3. Basic knowledge of systems architecture and microservices
4. Basic knowledge of fastapi and pytorch
5. Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
6. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub CI)
7. Advanced knowledge of OCI tooling
8. Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
9. Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash)
10. Strong Linux administration skills
11. Experience with Argo and/or Flux
12. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
13. Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL, especially PostgreSQL operator and redis/valkey)
14. Security best practices and RBAC implementation
15. Experience with service mesh technologies

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
2. Certifications for Managing Certified Kubernetes Systems
3. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, OpenTofu)
