A SaaS / Healthcare company is searching for an IT Security Manager to join them in Cologne.

The successful candidate will need to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets, including digital data, systems and networks. In addition, they should protect information from cyber threats and security breaches.

What else does the job involve?

• Develop and implement EU information security policies, procedures and guidelines to mitigate risk.
• Ensure compliance with EU standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Manage security incidents, conduct security awareness training and act as European AI Officer to ensure compliance with the European AI Act.

What skills should I bring?

• Years of professional experience in information security. Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Networks.
• The ability to manage other people. This is a key role and they’ll be expanding the team around the successful candidate.
• Knowledge of security engineering initiatives
• The ability to liase with infrastructure and product engineering teams.
• Strong German and English language skills.
