The Project Cost Controller will be part of our Energy and Natural Resources cost management team, primarily based at the client’s office in Germany. The role involves working on various commissions, from large multi-year frameworks to shorter advisory support projects. The individual may be part of a large team or act as the main contact point with the client, supported by the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing estimates and benchmarking reports
• Cost planning and pre/post contract administration
• Procurement (knowledge of public procurement is beneficial)
• Change control and post-contract cost management
• Value management and engineering
• Final account preparation

The candidate should be numerate, computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and contract administration software. Experience in both pre- and post-contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, and risk management, is required.

Qualifications include a degree in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience in a cost management environment. Candidates working towards RICS or SCSI Chartership will be considered. Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills, is essential. Candidates must have the right to work in Germany.
