We are a growing hi-tech digital company with a team of 70 colleagues, headquartered in Oberhaching, near Munich, with additional locations in The Netherlands, USA, Denmark, and the UK, plus colleagues in France and Japan. We are a mix of technical and business professionals. EnOcean has acquired two companies in the last two years and plans to acquire and integrate additional international companies in the coming years.
The Role & You
As the leader of the HR team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving change management, and ensuring that our HR function supports EnOcean’s growth. You will oversee HR administrative tasks like payroll and insurance, managed by an HR specialist, and supervise two part-time colleagues managing our front desk.
You are a strategic yet hands-on HR leader with at least 10 years of experience, combining empathy, structure, and communication to foster clarity and engagement. You will partner with leadership to promote a cohesive, inclusive culture across our international offices and facilitate the seamless integration of newly acquired companies. Experience in digital technologies or in a tech-driven environment is advantageous.
This is a part-time position with an approximate 20 hours weekly workload. It requires working from our Oberhaching office at least three days a week, with up to two days remote, and occasional travel to other locations. You will report directly to the CEO.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape and execute global HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Advise leadership and HR teams on strategic HR issues.
- Develop and implement HR operational strategies, monitor metrics, and report on performance.
- Standardize procedures and utilize technology to enhance HR service delivery.
- Improve employee experience through self-service tools and customer-centric approaches.
- Use HR data and analytics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage talent acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain HR policies and procedures compliant with local laws.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Ensure occupational safety measures are observed and employees are trained accordingly.
- Oversee employee training and development programs.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership experience in HR.
- University degree in business administration, psychology, economics, or similar.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals and HR transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of international HR practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to develop impactful HR programs across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in establishing and refining global HR policies.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR strategies into actionable plans, with a hands-on approach when needed.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics for HR decision-making.
- Business fluency in German and English.
