Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy's control system, it plays an important role in the global energy transition. A key focus of T3000 is to ensure the highest quality for our customers. As a T3000 Lead Tester (f/m/d), you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting test activities. Working within an agile development process, you will create test cases based on user stories derived from requirements. Your goal is to ensure product quality through functional testing. You will be part of a global, interdisciplinary team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  1. Plan, execute, and document feature-based tests.
  2. Install and configure automation levels in T3000 test systems (hardware and software).
  3. Identify and evaluate problems reported internally or from the field, conduct root cause analysis, and plan/release error corrections.
  4. Drive technical clarifications across agile teams and participate in communities of practice.
  5. Support the T3000 hotline and training center with questions and problems, including training on new functionalities.
  6. Advise product managers and product owners on defining requirements.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering, Master of Science, or equivalent training with several years of professional experience.
  • Practical experience in control technology systems, especially in power plants (including renewable energies like wind and solar), with knowledge of distributed control systems and design.
  • Experience in risk assessment, information security, data protection, and related regulations; experience with agile development processes (SAFe) is a plus.
  • Experience in test automation, preferably with QF-Test and Selenium.
  • Cybersecurity skills including network and system administration (Linux and Windows), penetration testing, system hardening, malware protection, and vulnerability management; background in system patching and security services.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
