The Role

  • Responsible for budget, time, and quality within own area of responsibility
  • Collaborate with Project Management, support functions, SubPMs, Project Leads, and engineers to exchange information and strengthen collaboration
  • Drive requirement engineering in own area
  • Promote model-based engineering process for C&P design
  • Develop C&P design concepts within own area
  • Implement Best Practices and Lessons Learned in projects
  • Follow RACI matrix responsibilities for projects and offers
  • Track issues and deviations; initiate mitigations from tender to acceptance

Project and Offer Work

  • Analyze Customer specifications focusing on technical requirements and feasibility
  • Develop overall project schedule for control & protection systems
  • Manage costs, risks, and opportunities for control and protection systems
  • Prepare bidding documents as per RACI matrix and bid category
  • Coordinate order entry calculations with Project Management
  • Manage risks and opportunities continuously
  • Handle Contracts and Claims with Project Management
  • Manage resources with Team and Project Leads
  • Support quality releases and NCR management
  • Plan time schedules for C&P systems
  • Control costs and track progress
  • Plan, control, and manage C&P system execution
  • Perform requirement engineering and implement C&P concepts
  • Coordinate interfaces with other teams
  • Manage changes and claims
  • Organize procurement of deliveries and engineering packages
  • Clarify customer requirements
  • Support installation, commissioning, and acceptance tests
  • Manage documentation from specifications to as-built

You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Fluent in English; German knowledge preferred
  • At least 5 years experience in C&P systems for large industrial converter applications
  • Experience leading small engineering or commissioning teams is a plus
  • Willing to work on-site during acceptance tests
  • Analytical and structured approach to complex tasks
  • Proactive in stakeholder management and issue resolution
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and stakeholders
