Project Description:
ADAS validation project involving Front Camera, Surround view cameras, Radars, and ultrasonic sensors.
For this specific role, the following are in focus:
Perform modification of the data collection vehicle according to provided specifications in order to be able to collect data from sensors and reference systems in different Worldwide regions.
Responsibilities:
Planning of car modifications.
Conducting conversions of test vehicles according to requirements.
Documentation creation.
System diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Manage activity scheduling with Customer counterpart.
Secure connection between system specification and system test specification.
Initial system start-up including integration tests.
Problem analysis, internally and externally.
Presentation of the system tests to Customer counterpart.
Assisting the development of test systems for vehicle testing.
Creation of application instructions.
Mechanical integration of sensors with prototype bracket, prototype HMI.
Electrical integration of sensors, HMI ECUs into vehicle.
Flashing sensors and firmware.
The position will involve business trips to Prague.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Education: a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive electronics or a similar role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive electronics, sensor technology, and ECU systems.
Proven Hands-On Experience in:
Installing and calibrating radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors in vehicles.
Usage of measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
Soldering techniques.
Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) for designing mechatronic systems.
Prototype driving license (or at least a valid German class B driver's license and willingness to get a prototype one).
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Certifications: Valid certification to work on battery electric vehicles (Level 2E).
Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for controlling embedded systems.
Familiarity with electrical components, including sensors, actuators, PLCs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and their application in automation and robotics.
Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and computer programming.
Ability to analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex engineering problems.
Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset and excellent attention to detail.
Efficient teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
