Senior Product Consultant (all genders)

star provides trading solutions for the European energy markets and has more than 15 years of experience in this field. The European energy sector is currently undergoing a historic transformation due to the energy transition and digitalization. As experts in this field, star is working on shaping and developing the European energy market of the future - together with our customers.

Tasks

1. Work together with key players in the European energy market
2. Plan, realize, and manage projects in energy trading, risk management, sales trading, cloud hosting, etc.
3. Analyze business and IT processes, identify requirements, and design trading solutions
4. Improve customer usage of our solutions and optimize their individual setups
5. Take responsibility for customer satisfaction – act as the main contact for our customers
6. Help develop our products in a changing and growing market
7. Extend your knowledge about energy trading and trading technologies
8. Support our sales team with your expertise

Requirements

1. A valid work permit
2. A degree in (business) informatics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business administration, or comparable studies or training
3. Practical experience in project management, requirements engineering, business analysis, and designing trading solutions
4. Excellent analytical, communication, teamwork skills, and a precise, independent work style
5. Passion for IT; knowledge of hosting, cloud, infrastructure, SQL, databases, XML, or development skills is a plus
6. Enjoy tackling project challenges to deliver and implement customer requirements
7. Previous experience in energy/commodity trading and customer acquisition is preferred
8. Proficiency in English (C1 level); German skills are a plus

This position is remote but candidates are welcome to work from our offices in Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Leipzig, or London.
