A Snapshot of Your Day

You will participate in weekly Jour Fix meetings for team information exchange, discuss cyber security concepts, encourage team contributions, and review project topics and upcoming tasks. You will also discuss HMI update offers for FACTS systems, adapt resource planning, and check offer submissions including calculations. Collaborating with Sales and the team, you will develop technical solutions for customers. Your work will mainly be in Erlangen, with visits to test areas or remote work options.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to an international engineering team.
• Review concepts and test procedures for HMI and IT security upgrades for HVDC and FACTS systems.
• Plan operations for engineering, commissioning, and installation.
• Handle inquiries from customers, internal departments, or suppliers.
• Advise customers on updates and security refurbishments.
• Create and review documentation, reports, hardware plans, and software architecture.
• Support sales with quotations through technical expertise.

What You Bring

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in C&P.
• Extensive experience with FACTS & HVDC systems.
• Experience as a team leader with technical and disciplinary responsibility is advantageous.
• Intercultural interest and willingness to travel (10-20%).
• Proficiency in German and English, combined with customer orientation and motivation to perform.
