Our Finance department in Luxembourg is currently looking for a Billing Officer (m / f / x).

The main responsibility of this role is managing the firm's billing and revenue function and assisting the firm in achieving its financial targets by providing efficient and focused service throughout the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and coordinate the client billing process to ensure accurate charging and allocation of time.
  2. Thoroughly check bills in accordance with standard operating procedures before sending to partners and clients, including controlling client budgets, unbilled fees, and agreements.
  3. Process and follow-up on e-billing with the dedicated team.
  4. Ensure bills are rendered on time and accurately.
  5. Deliver monthly reports.
  6. Liaise and follow-up with the collection team.
  7. Handle all internal and external queries related to billing matters.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant administrative fields.
  • Fluent in English and French; German is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience in a billing function within a legal environment.
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg VAT legislation is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative.
