You will succeed if you have the following skills:

  • Product Writing Proficiency: Experience as a copywriter, content marketer, technical writer, or similar roles.
  • Content Design: Ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content for digital platforms that meet user needs.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and developers.
  • Communication: Skill in simplifying complex ideas and adapting writing styles.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understanding of how wording impacts goals and ability to develop effective content strategies.
  • Research Affinity: Willingness to learn UX or consumer research and conduct user interviews.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and preferably native Dutch or German.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Swedish, Danish, French, Finnish, or other European languages.
  • Experience with voice & tone guidelines, content systems, or content governance.
  • Experience with complex product ecosystems (B2B, B2C, B2B2C).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.
  • Experience with localization tools like Crowdin.
  • Background in linguistics.
  • Interest in content-first design.

Benefits:

  • Inclusive environment and appreciation culture at Riverty.
  • Support for sports and leisure activities.
  • Training and development opportunities, including Bertelsmann University courses, language, and leadership training.
  • Discounts on Bertelsmann products and financial incentives.
  • Diverse work models, including mobile office, flexible hours, and part-time options.
