Their trading platform enables market participants to execute trades with speed, efficiency, and security. As they expand their product offerings, they seek a motivated, self-starting Business Developer for PPA Trading & Hedging to lead the development of new wholesale products focused on the German Market.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new wholesale products for PPA trading, hedging, and procurement.
• Drive trading volume growth by onboarding PPA portfolio managers and traders.
• Build and maintain relationships with PPA managers, traders, and key players in renewable energy.
• Leverage existing trader networks and identify new clients to expand market presence.
• Collaborate with leadership to strategize and scale this market segment.
• Stay informed on industry trends to innovate and adapt offerings for PPA managers.
• Represent the company at industry events, positioning as a market leader in PPA trading.

Your Profile

• Deep understanding of the German PPA market, including hedging and trading strategies for renewable energy portfolios; existing network in renewable trading is a plus.
• Proven experience managing PPAs from hedging and origination perspectives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale new markets.
• Experience working with PPA portfolio managers, understanding their needs and market dynamics.
• Self-starter attitude, results-driven, and ownership-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex products to stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker capable of aligning market opportunities with company growth.
