System Administrator Enterprise Operations Team (m/w/d) IT & Managed Services DACH
We are seeking a passionate System Administrator who will help us further develop the IT service area with modern thinking and technical brilliance. Apply now and become part of the team!
Your responsibilities include:
Technical Support and Incident Management: Handling complex support requests and monitoring events in the 2nd and 3rd level, where your technical know-how is at the forefront.
Remote Administration: Independent and responsible management of our clients' IT systems, including sustainable error analysis and resolution using your technical knowledge.
System Optimization: Planning and implementing measures to optimize our clients' IT infrastructure, based on solid knowledge in the relevant technologies.
System Updates and Patches: Performing system updates and patches for various technologies and our own products, always in close collaboration with clients.
Cooperation and Teamwork: Collaborating with project management, external manufacturers, and colleagues from other departments to ensure efficient integration and maintenance of systems.
IT Infrastructure Extensions: Carrying out extensions and upgrades of existing IT infrastructure, assisting with troubleshooting and analyzing system performance.
Technical Responsibility: Taking overall technical responsibility within projects to ensure their success through your technical expertise.
Your profile:
Education and Studies: You have completed training as an IT specialist, successfully graduated from a technical degree program, or possess a comparable qualification.
Expertise: You bring solid knowledge in some of the following areas or are highly motivated to familiarize yourself with them:
Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows
Virtualization and Cloud: Citrix, VMware
Databases and Backup Solutions: Oracle, Veritas Netbackup, Veeam
Storage and Cluster Systems: Storage systems, cluster technologies (Veritas)
Reliability and Customer Orientation: You are known for your high level of reliability and your confident interaction with customers, always with a customer- and service-oriented approach.
Work Style: Your work style is independent and goal-oriented, allowing you to efficiently and successfully manage complex tasks.
Soft Skills: You are characterized by excellent communication skills, strong team orientation, and resilience, enabling you to work successfully both in a team and independently.
