To achieve our ambitious goals we are looking for you to support our “Product Solutions Team”. Currently, we have a short-term vacancy for an Onboarding Manager (f / m / d).

Your areas of responsibility include:

  • Steering and monitoring our onboarding process for securities fund launches and transfers end-to-end into Universal-Investment to ensure a delivery in-time and in-quality.
  • Acting as the central touchpoint and escalation body for clients and our internal departments during the end-to-end onboarding process.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders to keep them appraised of progress and communicate any additional requirements.
  • Coordinating and facilitating the legal and operational setup (incl. cross-country distribution requirements) of new mandates (fund launches as well as transfers) by interacting with clients and our internal departments.
  • Supporting clients and internal departments in handling non-standard requests (e.g. commissions, new processes).
  • Ensuring that all onboarding-related KYC & Due Diligence requirements are met by supporting Legal & Compliance.
  • Establishing and maintaining efficient and well-documented onboarding and life cycle management processes for clients in line with local fund regulations.
  • Contributing to product developments by addressing potential developments to and working closely with Universal’s Product Mgmt Team.
  • The Onboarding Manager is a key profile position with significant responsibility and will also be encouraged to identify opportunities for improvements within client onboarding.

What you offer:

  • Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the European asset management industry, either in a project management or a client-facing role.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, incl. proven experience in project management and/or contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good understanding of the investment fund business in Germany, Luxembourg, and Ireland (e.g. fund administration, securities services, KYC, etc.).
  • Service orientation, paired with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Dedicated team player.
  • Strong leadership skills and high capability of convincing others.
  • Fluent in German and English in word and writing; any additional language is considered an asset.
