Our client seeks a motivated and skilled field application engineer specializing in Embedded Linux. This client-facing role requires effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the company's products and services, be capable of analyzing customer requirements, and provide detailed technical solutions.

The position is primarily based in Darmstadt, with some travel to the Frankfurt site expected.

Responsibilities

1. Understand customer needs and deliver accurate technical solutions.
2. Complete documentation to a high standard.
3. Program with Embedded Linux as needed.
4. Build and maintain relationships with key customer accounts.
5. Provide lab demonstrations and technical presentations.

Requirements

1. A degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related (Bachelor's/Master's or higher).
2. Deep knowledge and experience with Embedded Linux frameworks.
3. Experience in a technical/engineering role.
4. Experience with Internet Protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
5. Knowledge of WLAN, IP, GSM, etc., is preferred.
6. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
7. Fluency in English and German is required; French is a plus but not mandatory.
