Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who provides technical assistance to the Sales Directors and is responsible for all pre-sales technical efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support the Sales Team in the sales process, including analyzing customer needs and creating technical solution descriptions.
• Present and sell technological solutions to customers with the assistance of the Sales Manager.
• Help prepare technical responses for bids, RFIs, and RFPs.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and network within the industry to promote Ribbon Communications.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).
• Familiarity with the telecommunications and Service Provider industry, including products, services, and technologies.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, containers, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google), 4G/5G, VoLTE/VoNR, hosted/cloud-based UC, SIP PBX, network security, OSS & analytics, Ethernet, and IP routing.
• Industry certifications (Cisco, AWS, Azure, etc.) are advantageous.
• Analytical, structured, a good team player, confident in presenting technical solutions, and willing to travel (up to 30%).
• Permission to work in Germany.
