Job Description
For our Visualization team at Snke OS, we are looking for a Software Engineer. You will be part of a fast-paced and motivated team that develops software solutions for medical image viewing on desktop computers, hospital servers, and the Cloud. The position offers the chance to contribute with your creative solutions to real products with disruptive technologies. Your expertise will have an immediate impact on hospital workflows worldwide.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Drive innovation in server and cloud technologies across the company, by improving containerization and orchestration using Docker
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services to support our applications
- Contribute to the application development of the successful DICOM Viewer (Modern C++ application with HTML5 frontend)
- Assist in transforming our home-grown monolithic software into server and cloud-ready microservices
- Bring your software engineering expertise to the medical world

Qualifications
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
- Strong interest and good skills in server technologies and cloud computing
- Experience with Docker, REST APIs, and gRPC
- Experience in frontend technologies like React is a plus
- Passion for scalable and efficient software solutions
- Eagerness to be part of a high-skilled team where your talent is both challenged and supported
- Enjoying software projects and taking responsibility while keeping an eye on goals and guiding colleagues
- Comfortable in an agile software development environment or interested in developing these skills
- Good communication skills and motivation for collaboration with team members and international partners
