The Opportunity

This position is based in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) within the Abbott Diabetes Care division, focusing on helping people with diabetes manage their health through innovative products that provide accurate data for better decision-making.

As the Business Operation Solution Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of the EMEAP Business Operations Team, responsible for ensuring the stability and availability of our business platforms to deliver excellent digital experiences to our customers. You will lead strategic planning for product development and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency, with a focus on customer value creation.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement EMEAP Digital Operations by shaping and executing ADC CX and SCM strategies in alignment with global digital excellence initiatives.
  • Identify and develop digital innovations with internal and external partners to enable new business capabilities.
  • Ensure the operation and enhancement of current applications in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Define requirements and set priorities on a program level, acting as a business partner in large projects.
  • Participate in innovation and change projects across different teams and regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BRM, IT teams, external vendors, and international teams.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes, implementing new, efficient processes where appropriate.
  • Shape the digital infrastructure and IT landscape with delivery partners, enhancing processes and quality along the customer journey.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Postgraduate diploma, university degree, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or customer experience with IT solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years in MedTech, Pharma, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Proven leadership in IT delivery teams and service provider management.
  • Project management skills, both classical and agile.
  • Solution-oriented team player with accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to document and assess business requirements.
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Computer Science, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Expertise in at least two areas: Supply Chain Management, Customer Experience, or E-commerce Solutions.
  • Practical experience with CRM and SCM solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
  • Experience working in international teams.
