Take responsibility for one of the largest mobility projects in the Ruhr area with your foresight and coordination skills!
The extension of tram line 105 is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the Ruhr area and a central part of Oberhausen's mobility strategy. It aims to connect Alt-Oberhausen, Sterkrade, and the Neue Mitte directly, efficiently, and environmentally friendly with key destinations in Essen. Additionally, new residential areas for up to 4,000 people are being developed on the former steelworks site and along Ripshorster Straße, integrated into the public transport network.
The project is implemented in close cooperation between the City of Oberhausen, STOAG Stadtwerke Oberhausen GmbH as project lead, and other involved stakeholders. To support project coordination, a new position has been created in the mobility department of the City of Oberhausen, assigned to the department of Traffic Planning and Signal Systems.
This attractive position is remunerated for civil servants according to salary group A 13 LBesG NRW or for salaried employees according to EG 13 TVöD.
In this responsible role, you will work closely with the transportation operator to represent the interests of Oberhausen throughout the project duration. You will collaborate across disciplines at all project phases, significantly contributing to the successful implementation of a key infrastructure project.
We offer a permanent, meaningful role with societal relevance, a central location, a job ticket, company pension scheme, and diverse training opportunities—within an environment characterized by mutual respect.
The City of Oberhausen is committed to equal opportunities.
