Responsibilities
- Develop evolutionary AI models enabling UAVs to self-learn and adapt their behavior in dynamic environments.
- Implement neuroevolution algorithms (NEAT, HyperNEAT, ES, CMA-ES) to optimize UAV swarm coordination and autonomous decision-making.
- Design reinforcement learning-based evolutionary strategies for adaptive mission execution and real-time UAV swarm optimization.
- Develop AI-driven control mechanisms that allow UAVs to self-improve through simulated and real-world interactions.
- Integrate sensor fusion data (Radar, RF, EO/IR, Lidar, Acoustic) into evolving AI-driven navigation models.
- Conduct HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing to validate UAV self-learning behavior.
- Ensure compliance with defense and AI safety standards (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs, AI in Warfare Ethics).
Your mission

- Optimize multi-agent systems for decentralized, self-organizing swarm intelligence.
- Integrate sensor fusion data (Radar, RF, EO/IR, Lidar, Acoustic) into evolving AI-driven navigation models.
- Conduct HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing to validate UAV self-learning behavior.
- Ensure compliance with defense and AI safety standards (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs, AI in Warfare Ethics).
Your profile
- 5+ years experience in neuroevolution, reinforcement learning, or adaptive AI for robotics.
- Expertise in genetic algorithms (GA), neuroevolution (NEAT, HyperNEAT), and self-learning AI models.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, TensorFlow/PyTorch, or JAX for AI-driven UAV intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL), evolutionary robotics, and self-improving AI.
- Familiarity with ROS2, Gazebo, AirSim, and swarm communication protocols (DDS, ZeroMQ, MQTT).
Nice to have
- Experience in military UAV swarm applications and autonomous countermeasure systems.
- Background in neuromorphic computing, bio-inspired AI, and AI-driven emergent behavior.
- Knowledge of quantum-enhanced AI for evolutionary learning in UAV networks.
