What you can expect

1. You prepare individual financial statements according to local laws for the centrally managed companies of the DKV Group.
2. You ensure the timely monthly delivery of relevant data (IFRS-compliant income statement, balance sheet, etc.) for the consolidated financial statements in accordance with group guidelines.
3. You are the contact person for auditors regarding individual financial statement issues according to both IFRS and HGB.
4. You ensure the timely provision of data for the preparation of monthly VAT returns for all central companies and countries.
5. You manage and optimize processes within the team, including SAP systems, interfaces, and job automation.
6. You communicate with departments such as FP&A, Treasury, Sales, TAX, and HR, as well as with other auditors and consultants.

What makes you stand out

1. You have a completed degree with a focus on finance or a completed vocational training in the commercial field and further training with a focus on accounting, or a comparable qualification (certified accountant exam).
2. You have at least 5 years of professional experience in accounting (ideally in the area of general ledger accounting).
3. You have knowledge in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
4. You are proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and are experienced with SAP (or a comparable ERP system).
5. You are a team player, have strong communication skills, and work independently with analytical skills and problem-solving competence.
6. You are fluent in German and have good English skills, both written and spoken.
