The Role

Amazon is seeking Site Process Engineers to join the Process Engineering (PE) team, based in Fulfillment Centers (FCs). The PE team drives process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network, establishing best-in-class performance, accelerating technological implementation, and enhancing operational expertise.

As a Site Process Engineer, you will collaborate closely with FC Operations and regional PEs, deploying initiatives, building networks, and ensuring compliance within set timelines. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Variation Reduction: Identify top opportunities by analyzing processes, implement improvement plans, audit execution, review open SIMs, and validate results using various dashboards to achieve financial savings.
  2. Continuous Improvement: Drive network best practices, facilitate innovation capture, and contribute to large-scale projects with significant savings.
  3. Deployment of Initiatives: Oversee the execution of EU network initiatives, support test and pilot phases, and ensure deployment across all EU FCs.
  4. Partnership with FC Ops: Participate in daily Gemba walks, organize weekly leadership meetings, and build strong relationships with site leadership to foster trust and buy-in.
  5. Project Support: Lead or support EU projects, coordinate multiple FCs, and enhance project management skills.
  6. Travel: Be prepared to travel domestically and regionally as needed, approximately 0-10% of the time.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • English proficiency (Common European Framework of Reference C1)
    • Background in Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, or Logistics

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
    • Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement practices
    • Ability to interpret and communicate analytics effectively to senior leadership
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and motivate teams
