Your tasks
Responsibility for the overall technical and strategic architecture of the group-wide ITSM platform
Aligning platform capabilities with business strategy and internal ITSM roadmap
Providing technical leadership to the platform support team in implementing technical best practices, policies, and operational processes
Designing, building, and evolving the platform architecture, including release management, integration, security, and scaling
Managing external implementation partners and ensuring an efficient operations and development model
Introduction and further development of standardized IT service management processes according to ITIL (e.g., incident, change, request, problem, asset)
Prospective expansion of the platform to become a company-wide ESM platform
Identification and implementation of automation potential within the platform to increase efficiency and quality
Close cooperation with process owners such as service managers, security, compliance, CIO office, and the head of IT foundation
Contribution to the further development of group-wide IT governance and the professionalization of IT operations
Your profile
Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in the architecture, configuration, or operation of ITSM platforms in larger IT organizations (ServiceNow, Freshworks, BMC, or similar)
Deep technical understanding of platform operation, process digitization, and interface architecture
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification is mandatory
Experience in managing service providers and working with international teams
Ability to translate technical complexity into strategic decisions and orchestrate various stakeholders
Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
Very good communication skills in German and English
