A Japanese metal and glass components company in Munich is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager - Laser Processing Technology (m/f/d) with responsibility for the entire EU market.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage relationships with existing clients, primarily in Germany, including approximately 20 key accounts.
2. Actively engage in account management to ensure client satisfaction, address inquiries, and resolve concerns.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the German market, leveraging our laser processing technology and highlighting its potential.
4. Research and stay updated on emerging industry technologies, identifying growth areas and customer needs.
5. Collaborate with our team in Japan, including leading laser processing technology companies specializing in manufacturing laser equipment for small component production.
6. Work with niche components, requiring close collaboration with research institutes and technical information exchanges.
7. Contribute to company development activities by providing feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
8. Coordinate with our international sales team based in Japan to ensure smooth client contract transitions and handovers.

Job Requirements

1. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in laser processing technology or related industries.
2. Strong customer relationship management skills, with experience managing key accounts and fulfilling their specific needs.
3. Knowledge of the German market and familiarity with prominent laser processing technology companies.
4. Technical expertise in laser processing technology, including niche components and applications.
5. Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal German and English.
