Location:Hybrid – Cologne (Rheinauhafen) - 3 days week in the office, 2 days remote (Tue and Thu)

We’re on a mission to make downtime invisible. Thousands of DevOps and IT teams - from scale-ups to enterprises - use our incident-management platform 24/7 to react faster and communicate outages clearly.

As our first dedicatedproduct designer, you’ll own the end-to-end user experience across web and mobile, turning complex, high-stakes workflows into delightfully simple interactions.

What you’ll do

• Talk to users, dig into metrics and run usability tests to uncover real pains
• Frame scenarios and success metrics that matter (MTTR, alert fatigue, NPS)
• Craft low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes inyour preferred tool
• Evolve and govern ilert’s cross-platformdesign system(Web + Mobile)
• Balance clarity and density in data-rich dashboards and timeline views

Deliver & iterate

• Hand off pixel-perfect specs and pair with engineers in GitHub & Storybook
• Validate releases with A/B tests and continuous user feedback loops
• Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance best practices

What makes you a great fit

• 3+ yearsdesigning production SaaS interfaces end-to-end
• Portfolio that proves user-centric thinking, visual craft and shipped impact
• Mastery ofFigma(auto-layout, variants, tokens) and basic motion/animation
• Hands-on with design systems, component libraries and responsive layouts
• Fluency in English (our working language); German is a bonus
• Solid grasp of HTML/CSS limits and possibilities - enough to speak dev
• Designed for technical audiences (DevOps, SRE, cloud engineers)
• Ran quantitative research (surveys, funnel analytics) or A/B experiments
• Experience with real-time data products
