Job Description

SIMBAD Catamarans proudly bears the name of a legend, opening the sea to all maritime adventure enthusiasts. We utilize advanced sail control systems for optimal sailing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Medium-term and short-term production planning.
  • Monitoring and adjusting production tasks and plans using electronic tools (MS Project or similar).
  • Preparing drawings, sketches, data sheets, lists, and documentation for production.
  • Monitoring materials and equipment inventory.
  • Preparing purchase applications for equipment and materials.
  • Researching and selecting appropriate materials and equipment.
  • Providing feedback on materials and production processes.
  • Ensuring quality control at all production stages according to standards.
  • Selecting and modifying models, drawings, and documentation as needed.
  • Participating directly in production operations.
  • Communicating with project managers on technical issues.
  • Preparing reports and analyses periodically.
  • Identifying and addressing out-of-state and emergency situations.
  • Suggesting process optimizations without compromising quality.
  • Designing assembly details, construction, equipment installation, and workshop drawings.
  • Designing additional accessories for production processes.

Education:

  • Engineer (mandatory), Naval Architect.

Languages:

  • English – Advanced
  • Español – Medium

Ukrainian (Russian) proficiency is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Rhino
  • AutoCAD
  • SolidWorks (advantage)
  • Naval Engineering (advantage)
  • GRP Yacht Construction (advantage)

Must have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of production processes and their practical application.
  • Understanding of unit functions and physics of processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
  • English language proficiency.

Nice to have:

  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends.
  • Knowledge of other CAD software (Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
