Job Description:

To strengthen our European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, we are currently looking for a Transmission / Reducer Development Engineer.

Your profile

University degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics/Physics.

• 3+ years experience in transmission/reducer.
• Experience in clutch and gear shift design.

Experience in reducer component development (gear, shaft, bearings) with suppliers.

Experience in reducer housing and cover manufacturing using aluminium die-casting process.

• Experience in reducer NVH analysis is a plus.

Strong self-management skills and high flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

• Team player with excellent analytical skills.

Very good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing reducer or transmission housings and covers.
• Creating 2D drawings and 3D models of gear components for supplier collaboration.
• Procuring reducer components (gear, shaft, bearings) from European suppliers.
• Designing actuators and shift mechanisms.
• Collaborating with engineering partners.
• Researching market trends in Europe.
