Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Softwareentwickler:innen with BI-Expertise for exciting projects at our clients. You will be involved in the entire software development process, working on data preparation, database development, data warehouse optimization, and creating reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  1. Engage in diverse and challenging activities throughout the software development lifecycle in client projects.
  2. Coordinate requirements with clients and analyze and implement data processing workflows.
  3. Develop and build relational and multidimensional databases to establish a unified data repository.
  4. Optimize existing data warehouse solutions.
  5. Design and implement data structures, ETL processes, or automations.
  6. Create or adapt reports and dashboards for BI processes or management KPI analysis.

Qualifications

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics or related IT field, or comparable qualification with IT affinity, preferably with a focus on Controlling.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in database development, especially handling large data volumes, with strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in implementing ETL/ELT processes and understanding of DWH architectures.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and process-oriented thinking skills.
  • Quick comprehension, structured working style, and a focus on results and quality.
  • Ability to work independently within an agile team environment familiar with Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficient in German and English communication.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany occasionally.
