To lead our media team, we are looking for a leader at our Karlsruhe or Berlin location who has a good eye for detail, is an expert in the media world, understands all online marketing disciplines, and has a deep understanding of tracking, attribution, and optimization in this context.
Tasks
- Leading a ten-member team consisting of media strategists and online as well as offline marketing experts
- Full responsibility for our brand budget amounting to over €60 million per year for our three core brands: IONOS, Strato, and home.pl
- Holistic planning, control, optimization of allocation, and operational management of the brand budget along central, performance-oriented KPIs (from brand awareness to customer acquisition) of national and international campaigns for all branding channels such as linear TV, CTV, online video, and display
- Further development of programmatic display through building additional DSPs
- Responsibility and management of central media platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, LinkedIn
- Central interface to brand, performance marketing, and product teams
- Optimization of tracking and attribution setups
- Negotiations with marketers and management of external media agencies
- Continuous process improvement, including implementation of ways of working, standardization, and automation
- Direct reporting line to the board, including coordination, implementation, and reporting on brand flights, budget scenarios, and forecasts
Qualifications
- You have a degree or training in marketing, business administration/economics, (business) informatics, or a comparable field
- You have at least ten years of relevant professional experience in media (classic and digital) with a focus on online marketing, preferably in programmatic advertising
- You have a proven track record in efficiently managing and optimizing significant global media budgets
- You have deep expertise in DV360 and CM360 and other DSPs/ad servers
- Fluent German and English skills, additional language skills are welcome
