Join Our Team as a Director Business Development - home based in UK, Poland, Sweden, Germany, or Portugal.

About this role

As part of our Business Development team, you will work alongside passionate professionals to help our customers achieve their goals.

The Director Business Development is responsible for the strategy and client retention within an assigned territory or accounts, coordinating all activities delegated to the business development staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans and sales strategies within your territory or accounts.
  • Achieve annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Prepare for client meetings, including capabilities and bid defense meetings.
  • Negotiate budgets and contracts post-award.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Prepare sponsor presentations and gather information for proposals.
  • Lead the proposal process and manage costs and expenses.
  • Coordinate with operations on study status and change orders.
  • Monitor competitor activities and attend industry events and tradeshows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of clinical research and/or sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Leadership capabilities and customer-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of TFS / CRO business and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the territory.
