Monotype is seeking a sales leader, preferably located in Berlin, with a passion for growing and evolving a diverse business in the dynamic and crucial Mid-Market in Germany. The role involves leading and maintaining a positive sales culture and a high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing :
- Manage, develop, and coach a highly effective revenue-generating sales team, driving the next generation of talent.
- Define sales strategy, territory planning, and effective account allocation for the valuable German Mid-Market.
- Manage and deliver detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Drive and implement sales methodologies such as Value Selling and MEDDIC.
- Develop and execute annual strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share from new and existing clients.
- Set quality objectives, performance standards, and priorities across the team.
- Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and product strategies.
- Monitor market and competitor activity, sharing insights with leadership and sales teams.
- Build effective alliances across departments including Business Development, Marketing, Legal, Customer Success, and Product.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings.
- Create an environment that attracts and retains top sales talent, making Monotype an employer of choice.
- Conduct weekly forecast meetings and mentor Account Executives to exceed goals.
What we’re looking for :
- Native German and fluent English skills; additional languages like Polish, Czech, or Hebrew are a plus.
- Experience in fast-paced environments such as SaaS or tech.
- Minimum of 2 years proven management experience with sales teams or related roles.
- Exceptional presentation skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong leadership ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Ability to understand and lead complex sales processes.
- Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience with consultative selling methodologies like MEDDPICC, Value Selling, or Challenger Sale.
