Responsibilities

  • Further development and maintenance of the backend logic of our web-based products
  • Connection and maintenance of interfaces to relevant hotel portals such as Booking.com, Expedia, and many more
  • Efficient data processing and provision for the frontend - ensuring smooth and efficient information flow
  • Technical coordination within the development team, including remote colleagues
  • Active co-design of our backend architecture and API strategy

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in backend development, with relevant training or a degree in computer science
  • Excellent knowledge of a server-side programming language for data processing (e.g., PHP, Python, Perl, or similar)
  • Good to very good knowledge of MariaDB/Galera databases
  • Passion for clean, well-structured code and efficient data structures
  • Basic knowledge of GIT/GitLab
  • Knowledge of Perl is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Fluent in German and English
