We seek a Developer interested in supporting business processes within our Back Office commodity teams. Your role will involve supporting and creating solutions around market communication processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a highly digitalized environment. Join RWEST, RWE's commercial hub, to drive digitalization and efficiency supporting the energy transition.

Your future plans

1. Develop, maintain, and support IT solutions based on business needs using agile methodologies in a DevOps environment.
2. Gain in-depth understanding of Back Office processes like clearing, settlements, confirmations, reconciliation, and billing.
3. Analyze business requirements and evaluate IT solutions collaboratively with users.
4. Implement new software solutions and migrate existing ones to modern architectures like AWS.
5. Identify and implement improvements through new technologies and strategies.
6. Provide production support adhering to SLAs and interact with customers.
7. Contribute to personal development and performance review processes.
8. Possess programming skills in Java, .NET (core), and understand CI/CD, automated testing, databases like PostgreSQL and MSSQL, XML, XSLT, and web services.
9. Interest in AWS Cloud technologies and modern web frontends like Blazor.
10. Experience or interest in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban in a DevOps team.
11. Effective team collaboration across locations.
12. Ownership of the entire software development lifecycle.
13. Understanding of security integration in applications.
14. Excellent communication skills in German and English, with attention to detail and problem ownership.
